Custom honeycomb grid / fan guard

Generate a new model based on your own parameters.

General instructions

Parameters #1 and #2 should be considered differently depending on whether or not you enable holes.

  • If you don’t enable holes, parameters #1 and #2 correspond to the total length and width.
  • If you do enable holes, parameters #1 and #2 correspond to the center-to-center distance (pitch).

If parameter #4 dual color is enabled, the model will consist of two objects, creating a secondary color band around the outer edge of the grid.

The model is generated with a fixed thickness of 2 mm, but you can easily adjust it in your slicer.

Models with a fine mesh take longer to generate.
