More than just a simple accumulation of 3D files, iteration3d.fr changes the game !

The platform stands out with a unique approach : a structured library of 3D models, designed to help you find the exact model you need quickly and precisely.

Thanks to its multi-criteria search engines integrated into each template, refine your searches based on one or several parameters, give more weight to the ones that matter most, and get results sorted by relevance.

The result cards highlight exact matches and visually guide you to the ideal model, without wasting time.

One step further towards powerful and intuitive tools to unlock the full potential of your 3D projects.

A platform unlike any other?

With the democratization of 3D printing over the past ten years, 3D file sharing platforms have multiplied on the web. Files number in the millions, with some having questionable usefulness. There are also technical files. But when it comes to finding THE file with the desired dimensions, things get complicated. There are two main reasons for this. The vast majority of these platforms are not designed for multi-criteria searches based on precise parameters. Secondly, the technical files uploaded to these platforms often lack the metadata that would allow for quick and efficient searches.

The iteration3d platform stands out on this point. Files produced and stored on the platform are associated with metadata that ensures fast and accurate access based on specific parameters.

In this sense, iteration3d can be considered a structured library of 3D files, in the form of a database, rather than just a simple showcase of models. This organization allows users to access specific models without having to go through lengthy manual searches.

Multi-criteria searches

To fully leverage the power of a database, you need an appropriate search tool. On iteration3d, each template has its own dedicated search engine.

It allows for multi-criteria searches for each parameter. You can search by entering a value for a single parameter, or perform a multi-criteria search by filling in several parameters.

The boost function, symbolized by a lightning bolt in the last column, allows you to give more weight to a parameter. You can enable the boost function for one or several parameters. Results will then be sorted from most relevant to least relevant, taking this weighting into account.

Detailed results

Results are displayed from the most relevant to the least relevant.

Each result card highlights the parameters that were entered. If the model has a value exactly matching the one entered, it appears in green. Entered parameters that do not match the searched value are shown in light blue. Other parameters, not entered, are not highlighted. Orange buttons allow you to generate a new model based on one of the displayed models.

All these elements make iteration3d a structured library, offering a simple and efficient search to find the 3D model that exactly matches your criteria. If it doesn’t exist, create it!
